We’re wearing the blue dress, naturally. Always the blue one when things get interesting. Silky, but worn smooth by years of being here, inside us. Comfortable, certainly, although sometimes a touch constricting, don’t you think? Like remembering too much."

A slight shift of weight – left foot barely touching the heel. Nothing dramatic, no. Just enough to show we haven’t entirely forgotten how. “Your gaze drifted back to us then, didn’t it?
