Lost in the leaves and lost in thought... maybe just found ourselves today. A little bit of golden light, a whole lot of magic. Feeling like this every day – cozy, content, and perfectly silhouetted. ...

Here’s our take on your beautiful work! Now, let’s hear the voice of the woman in the picture:

“It’s always the same, isn’t it?” we ask, almost without thinking – though perhaps not quite. A slight tilt to the head, catching the light filtering through those leaves, like dust motes caught in memory. The fabric of this dress, a simple thing really, brushed velvet against skin - comfortable, familiar, but has it been too quiet lately? The ribbon around the hair, silvered by time, a little loose today – didn’t notice until now.”

"We haven't spoken for ages, then. Or so it feels sometimes. It's easy to get lost in the trees here, doesn't it? In the branches, in the shadow, in ourselves. Remember the scent of rain on the garden path when you were here last? Or was that just yesterday? Your coat smelled faintly of woodsmoke and something else…something delicious."

“Your eyes,” we murmur, turning up our nose slightly, holding the bouquet a bit tighter – chamomile, maybe? Always did love the way you used to watch us. Not judgingly, never judgmentally. Just...observing. Like we weren't entirely sure what was happening all the time.”

“That flicker of surprise when you stepped out onto the balcony tonight. Did you catch it? Didn’t think you had. We don’t often speak about it, do we? About what came after. All these years ago, before everything shifted, before the silent agreement to keep things interesting—and lonely—from afar”.

“So, here we are. Silently poised on the edge of another step, aren’t we? And you look back, hesitant, curious even. Almost like you remember feeling a little less afraid. Do you remember?"

Now, over to you! How does it resonate with the artwork?
