Golden light & a perfect smile. ✨ Pure bliss being here with you all. 🥰
Picture: A slightly blurry photo of two people sitting at an outdoor cafe table; one is reading a book, the other is gazing out the window.
The Coffee Shop Waltz
Scene: A bustling but charming Parisian café – tables spill onto the sidewalk, scooters zip by, and the air smells like coffee and possibility.
SOUND: The gentle clinking of cups, soft chatter in French, a distant accordion player.
SCENE START
- WIDE SHOT: MARGOT (28), effortlessly chic with tousled brown hair and wearing a cozy sweater, completely absorbed in her well-worn copy of "One Hundred Years of Solitude." She takes a sip of her espresso, oblivious to almost everything… except maybe the perfect curl on her eyebrow.
MUSIC: Light jazz begins – something mellow & romantic.
- CLOSE UP: ELIAS (30) sits across from Margot. He has kind eyes, a perpetually rumpled shirt, and a hint of a smile playing on his lips as he watches the world drift by – specifically, the way the light catches in Margot’s hair. He raises his fork to take a bite of his croissant...which nearly falls off the plate.
- MEDIUM SHOT: Elias glances over at Margot. She's humming quietly to herself, totally lost in the book. His gaze drifts back outside the window. Maybe she's not so oblivious after all…
- MONTAGE (short shots):
- Elias spills a little bit of his coffee (it doesn't make it into the shot).
- Margot turns a page, accidentally brushing against the sleeve of her own coat.
- They laugh together when they both reach for the same pastry tart (a delicious chestnut cream!).
- Close up on their hands restingendibyingly close during a particularly good chapter.
- MEDUIM CLOSEUP: Time lapse, several weeks have passed. Theyre now more comfortable, less hesitant. Margot leans closer to Elias while he reads, smiling gently as he continues to watch the street scene.
- MIDSHOT Suddenly, a rain drop lands on Margots nose. Both turn heads - they', too, were thinking about that!
- CLOSE-UP: Their fingers brush as they both reach for the same cup of coffee. Eyes widen, smiles break through.
- MEDIUM SHOT: Back to the wide shot – they haven's moved much since then. Now, they're looking at each other. Hesitation fades.MUSIC swells.
- CLOSE-UP: Perfecting kiss! Lips meet, slight wobble, blissful expression.
- MEDIUM SHOT: Cut to the next day - they are back in the cafe, mugs of coffee in hand, slightly blurrier than before. Another great afternoon.
- FINAL SHOT: Close up on the blurred photograph of them at the cafe. Two happy souls, perfectly imperfect, enjoying every moment.
