We shift slightly, the silk of the sleeve brushing against our skin, familiar comfort battling with an almost hesitant grace. A little bit of weariness, certainly. This alwaysness – of being ourselves, mostly, though sometimes we forget which version. Did you notice the trace of dust on the table behind us? Probably not. That’s the point, isn't it? To be noticed for the beauty of the details, not necessarily for the obvious ones.
