Golden hour glow and favorite oversized sweater - doesn’t get much better than this! Feeling cozy and contented as we watch the leaves fall outside our window. A little bit of rain, a whole lot of sty...
The cashmere isn’t quite holding tonight. A little too much fraying around the edges, perhaps, mirroring the threads ourselves. Feels like years since we were sure there was much here to begin with, doesn’t it? Just these silent observers for - well, for ages now. Like you’re afraid to admit you remember all along. Maybe even a flicker of guilt. Right. That bit about the wine. Perfectly reasonable, of course. Was it?
This scarf—a touch frivolous, some might say. Silk, though. Soft against the skin, which is good because sometimes, everything feels a little brittle. And here, now, with you standing just far enough away… almost feeling that familiar warmth returning. Almost.
Now, don’t be shy. Smile. Not that smile, not yet. Just a hint of acceptance. Let them see the girl beneath the layers, the one who remembers the sound of laughter. Just glance back, just for a second…"
