Here goes nothing. That’s always how it feels, really - here goes nothing. Like standing on the edge of something familiar, but perhaps not quite certain if it was our comfort to begin with. The rain hadn’t fully retreated yet, had it? Just the memory of its coolness against these sleeves – the wool’s still damp, a little bit, don’t think you noticed. Probably not. Most people don’t.

He liked to say we weren’t afraid to be vulnerable, which is nonsense, of course. More likely just terrified. Itched underfoot sometimes, didn't it? All those expectations, so many silentings.

That’s why we came out for a walk, wasn't it? To escape the quiet of the room, even if it meant braving the gloom outside. And now here you are, after all these years, squinting a little, trying to decipher whether we're happy to see you or merely resigned.

It doesn't matter much either way, does it? Doesn’t need to. Look at us, nestled into ourselves, almost forgetting the chaos. See that flicker in our eye? Maybe a spark. Or just a glimmer of hope, trapped beneath layers of comfortable distance.

So go ahead. Take another look. We haven’t exactly been hard to please.”

Now, over to you! Let us know what you thought—do you like the vibe? Would you like more detail about the wardrobe? Is there anything else you would like us to focus on within the imagery?
