Armor of Silk and Petals

Armor of Silk and Petals

"Don't mistake stillness for submission. I stand here not because I'm waiting, but because I've finally stopped running. The city outside is a beast that eats soft things alive; so I wore my quills until they felt like silk robes. Look at me—perfectly composed, perfectly alone behind these ancient pillars.

They say spring brings new beginnings, but to me, it just looks like chaos in pink. And yet... the petals fall without judgment. They don't ask about my past or mock my hesitation. Maybe that's why I'm here. To find a quiet place where even a creature with sharp edges can finally feel something warm against its skin without fear of getting cut."
